Last week we shared about how it can be used to bring down the cost of groceries and gifts, but we’ve found that it can be deal stacked (ie combined with other discounts) to lower the cost of your festive tipples.
Whether you like Baileys, Bucks Fizz, Beer or all of the above, here’s how HyperJar can help fill your glasses for less.
Cheers to saving up to 40% on bottles of wine and fizz
Morrisons currently has a wine promo where you can save 25% when you buy a case of six bottles of wine or fizz. You can mix and match bottles to put in some white, some red and maybe a rose Prosecco in there. You can even sneak in some Moet and Chandon if you’re feeling boujee.
Your 25% will be taken off automatically at checkout and then you’ll be given up to 15% back to spend on your next shop at morrisons.com if you pay with your HyperJar card. As long as you spend over £80 per transaction (so £80.01 counts…), you’ll get 15% back, which works out to £12 to spend on the Morrisons website or app the next time you shop. The discount applies every time you spend with them online, as long as it’s over £80. Tip: make sure you allow some wiggle room in case products are replaced or unavailable - you don’t want to come in under the over-£80 minimum and miss out!
Get 30 beers for under £30
Birra Moretti is a premium Italian lager, which would normally cost £42 for 30 bottles. However, you can currently get three 10-bottle cases of Birra Moretti for £30 at Morrisons.com. If you buy another £50 of groceries or household essentials and your total spend at Morrison’s is over £80, you’ll get 15% back on that for your next shop, which works out to £4.50. Effectively, you’re getting 30 bottles of premium beer for £25.50, which is £16.50 less than what you’d pay if there was no promotion or HyperJar cashback.
Buy the late Queen’s favourite sherry for £10.20
Harvey’s Bristol Cream sherry boasts a royal warrant as it was a favourite of Queen Elizabeth II. Whether you pop a little sherry in the Christmas trifle or you’re partial to a glass with your cold cuts buffet, Harvey’s Bristol Cream is a bargain at Morrrison’s, especially when you pay for it with a HyperJar card and get 15% cashback for a future bonus.
Originally £13.50, it’s reduced to £12 until 1 January. But with the HyperJar card linked offer, which gets you up to 15% back, you’ll make £1.80 to spend next time - so the sherry’s only costing you £10.20.
New-shoppers can get £97 of groceries for £68
New to Morrisons.com? That’s a good place to be as VoucherCodes is promoting a voucher that first-time Morrisons.com customers can use to get £17 off a shop of £80 or more.
To make the most of the deal, we suggest spending £97 or more so that you’ll still pay £80 with your HyperJar card. This will get you at least £12 back to spend on your next shop. Your £97 shop will make you £17 + £12 = £29, so you’ll be getting £97 worth of shopping for £68.
The voucher expires on 31 December, so make sure to use it quickly to avoid missing out.
In other news: Look out for “Boxing Day” sales as these start around mid to late December. We’ve seen that Oodie hooded blankets are reduced by up to 50% on the Oodie website, which may come in handy if you’re feeling the temperature has dropped a little but you don’t want to whack up your central heating too high.
